Limited Run Graflex 2.0 and Crossguard saber run - sign up thread

Where did you get those MR style plaques/plates.
I got those from a guy in the US. Don't remember his name right now.
Here are some samples:

Got mine today, it was super easy to assemble and a thing of beauty. For my first real saber (not counting hasbro FX), I couldn't be happier. Thanks Randy !

To those who have these Graflex's, are the grips made out of rubber or are they a hard plastic? I own a Parks MPP and had to change the grips to screen accurate hard plastic because Jeff supplied rubber grips which aren't correct.

Hard plastic! (Nice and sturdy for the screws for the esb/TFA grips!) and they are also curved to fit into the saber! To say the adhesive they have on them is strong is to put it mildly, so just take your time lining them up and make sure you have it set up for the right amount of grips/holes you want!

That's fantastic to hear!

Has anyone found a blade plug for the Graflex 2.0 that is somewhat similar to the original bulb plog?

I am planning on making my own using a cheap graflex flash found on ebay. You should just be able to gut one and at least use the pin out of it. We will see if it works when I get the saber and the flash. I will post pics if it works.

Got mine today. Super easy to put together, but it took me a while to figure out that the bottom half has to screw out.
I'm planing to replace the card with a gold one when I get the chance and I'll be getting Yoda's crystal chassis when he releases them.
It's my fist saber and I can't be happier with it.

I also swapped the edge connector for the gold plated one that wannawanga.com sells. I think it looks better.

Just had to file down the edges of the boards for the button, then I used some white-tac to stick the red caps temporarily in place.
I'm going to make them more permanent when I get around to doing the electronics.

Can this plug be used alone for a power up? Or do we need another underneath?

Does the TFA version of the saber meant to have the ½” metalized tape for the Graflex clamp around the middle?
