Well Okay then, been in and out of the shop today, got busy and got her fingers all done up, as well as her thumbs. I have her hand in my head and try'ed to draw it up but was a wash. You know the point of a build when you are almost done, and you seem to slow down a bit because your bout done. Well I seem to be at this point. I do have a cool concept for her hand, I just got to have these balls then I can get it done. Okay this mini gun attachment I think would look cool it wont be big just about the length of her fore arm and could have some small rockets to shoot bout three would look cool well see. Okay here is some work done today, Amie is almost here Thanks Enjoy

Yep Thanks A Bunch George, I hope so to. Well I have nothing to show I have figured out the hand at last point of the day. Yep just been thinking this up and now I got it. Now I still have to get some 1/2 inch balls 10 and 2 1 inch balls 10 for the fingers and 2 for the wrist and I have that figured out as well, so whilest I wait I am going to do some detail work. Yep got to get these parts before I can move any farther, This was way to simple to figure out I guess I just try to over think it as always. these hands are going to be cool, as I sit here I guess I can go on and cut all the parts I will need less getting the balls which will be ordered. Yep I can do this and I will share these pics as well. Plus I will get the detail work in as well. Back to the shop in the morning. Amie is for sure coming! Thanks for the likes and comments

Okay done a bunch of concept stuff, and not really anything done but I did get some balls, as well I got my concept in my mind and some what out in 3D so all this is really a bunch of thinking in material but I kinda see something. I had some hands I made a long time ago for a puppet never used but one hand was going to be cable driven so I lay'ed them out to share. I really want to make her some cool hands I do think her fingers are fare. I don't know what I will get done in the morning but two Dr's in the morning then eyes in the afternoon we shall see that's funny I didn't notice what I typed, Amie is coming! Thanks and Enjoy

Okay guys, Lots of running today, Dr visits got some test coming from one doc, sad to say eye drops are not working good enough so I will be having a procedure done and this should fix things and may be a end to the eye drops I will be getting this done in November. I really wanted not to have to do this but it will save my eyes. So today I have just concept study on her hands, I like the closer ball grouping better than the father apart ball sockets. I have a plan on attaching her thumb as well. This concept I try'ed to draw out but just to much can't get it out of me head. This hand will be able to grasp which will be a cool element. So the closer ball concept is the way I am going I think this will give her a sleeker hand. I will also may do some trimming on her fingers not all of them need thinning down but some do. As I did move her head forward a bit and that helped a bunch. there is so much detail work to do. Just to say next month is October and I still might take her for a car ride she might like it. Amie is bout here! back to the shop in the morning no running to do so I will get some stuff done. Thanks

Might want to reconsider the car ride with Amy, or your wife can pick you up from jail instead of the doc just be careful,okay? What you consider funny, some parent might think is scary or worse.Don't get into trouble

Thanks George, Yep fingers crossed for November I go back in October to the regular eye Dr. just to make sure all is fine till the procedure. I really think you are rite George about the car ride might have to do that day before Halloween and on Halloween. so not to scare some one or cause a rear end collision. So I did get busy today and cut a cool hand and one of the fingers was loose and wobbled around in the socket bad well make that two. I had to cut a complete new hand, I did try and pad the socket but decided to scrap it and start fresh, so here are pics I think you might like. I do have some knuckle work and some shaping but real close now I just have to make another. I will shape after I have two hands. Amie is close! Thanks Enjoy

Oh No you know what I just noticed in these pics not sure I will have to run out to the shop and see, but dang I think I cut her two right hands. O well I had to cut another because of loose ball sockets , so I can do it again I will let you know if this was the case. Thanks

Okay guys had another busy day in the shop and got a second hand and it was tough and I didn't make two of the same hand, I went right out to check that after computer time last night. Now I have two hands and got some shaping done on her right hand still more shaping on this to make it a bit sleeker. And Thank You George, yep I have been carving for some time now I just need to slow down a bit I tend to get in a hurry always something going on ,also with grand kids popping up from time to time but I love it. I use to do a lot of duck carving, I have one that's not finished, I can share that still has a bit more to do. Well here's some pics of todays progress Amie is coming get ready very close now! Okay Friends, another day in the shop, along with honey do list winterizing the pool, check oil in car, check air in tires, plus animals. So here we go I did some shaping on her hand, still got another to go plus I did a experiment on her arm ball socket. This on her arm is only a detail part I didn't get a pic of this but will show later, this part will have to go on after her fore arm is installed. The shaping on her hand looks cool. Okay Guys, I already have a cool ideal on Chloe's hands, they will be really cut down as close to the ball as I can get, I seen some hands that are like this, but with these hands I didn't want to push my limits but I think I could, on Chloe I want to try another type of ball socket, which will make it able to be cut very close to the ball. Thanks George, guess what now I have two. Yep today was a alright day good cup of coffee and it was on. I also did some detail study on her bicep arm and her fore arm. did implant her magnet for attachments one being a mini gun a small one. I spent about a hour or two on her hand then was off on other study's of her concept. I also been thinking up her battery pack placement kinda have a ideal. There still a bunch of detail work left to do but I will have her standing when all main construction done. Amie is close! Thanks and Enjoy

Okay guys did a bunch of study work on some detail on her bicep and fore arm. George I promise a duck pic he is right there by the Scallion, The fellow that keeps showing off, and for some reason I keep forgetting, I will make a note right now to do this, note done. Okay here we go well as said did a bunch of studying on detail work plus a bunch of just sitting there looking at her, and thinking of how I will be changing a bunch of stuff on Chloe, just about all of Chloe wont be the same as Amie. Yes with all this studying on Amie has come to where Chloe will be a completely diff. So now Amie....Okay I will be doing some detail cutting on her bicep and a bit on her fore arms, Then putting all this together and on her. I will have to make 2 1 inch balls can't find any with out ordering so I can make them faster. These balls will be for her wrist. so here you go Amie is very close. Thanks Enjoy

Well just for you George, Thank you for following this post. This duck will have under cut feathers and these feathers will get cut down almost paper thin still got to sculpt it some epoxy clay 2 part- for some cool real looking eye lids, still lots of cutting and smoothing then a bunch of burning. This will be a gift to my big brother. AND..........Amie is still Chilling Close!

Holy cow ! ...well, uhm...duck...rather, but dang ! Look at all this wood carving and what you made !
I'm still surprised there are very few other likes or responses.I thought the RPF was all about the unconventional...
Anyway, the arms I think look just awesome ! Ball joints, carved detail, everything just a pleasure to look at and see it come together ! To me it's Battle Angel Alita all over again.So cool...

Thank You Very Much George, Yep I agree such art don't come along often and some just don't realize what they are missing out on today everything comes out of a box or it is a casting. My friend told me he was thinking of getting a 3D printer but he said with me he don't need one. Glad you like the duck, Okay kind of a hit and miss today, and the detail part I didn't get a pic of is this black part on the elbow so now in this post got some cutting of the bicep and the detail part installed. I lay it all out on the bench as if it was all assembled, not to this point yet, but getting close......Amie is so very close! Thanks and Enjoy

Well now I got to match all this up on her left arm shouldn't be to hard, and I still got to make 2 balls for her wrist. and I have a plan on her battery compartment. Yes You so very right on topic there George, and guys I do love getting likes and followers. You know I am Blessed with so many art talents and I am very thankful for them all, as well as trying to practice each one. Also just seeing what I have to work with, if I only had a few more tools It would be on, Oh also a bunch of supply's , man the stuff I could make...mask,...of any kind, clay works, air brushing custom and art, drawing all types, puppetry, painting, degree in arts, model building, concept art, collecting, you name it 3 black belts as well as master teacher, wow I been busy but I am very Thankful to be so Blessed.
