That makes sense, it would be the perfect part of the book to end the season on but I'm not sure if showing the whole thing would be best or not. It might be best to show up to a certain point and end the season on a cliff hanger and leave the audiences all anxiously waiting for the next season to see what happens in the end.
And then the shot of Jamie Lannister grimacing in pain can only be one thing.
I spotted some Ygritte on top action in the trailer.. oh redheads.. how you slay me. She will be the only thing that will get me through this season, and the horrors that await..The night is dark, and full of terrors.. but hopefully ygritte too.. please..
The show runners have deliberately aged up most of the characters in the show. Especially the Stark children, Daenerys, and the Baratheon children. They didn't just cast older actors who look young, but the actual characters have been made older than in the books. In the first book, Robb and Jon are only 15. In the show they are 17. Same with Daenerys. She's only 14 when the books start. Even HBO wouldn't dare show a 14 year old having sex with a grown man like Khal Drogo.
That's why you can get away with it in the books, but HBO would never be allowed to show it on TV.Well, remember that in medieval times it was common for people to marry at age 12 and die by age 30.
