Anyone know what tool is required to remove the brass pins? And the size of this tool?

This may work.

1/8" or 3mm hex driver. Personally I like the 1/8th ones but 3mm should work, its a difference of 7 thou (0.007")

TGS ones are nice but $20 plus shipping is steep. Any quality 1/8" nut driver would be good to pick up if you plan on taking them out more than once. You can find them on amazon, ebay and hobby shops (for RC cars)

Alot of people have had success with the ones you find in the kit at Harbor freight or Walgreens like Ichnob pictured.

I believed I watched a YouTube video at one point with a guy who noted that standard nut drivers aren't deep enough, but you can carefully drill a deeper socket into them sometimes, if it's something you'll be doing often enough to justify modding a tool for the purpose.

YMMV, but this worked for me. Bought it at Harbor Freight for $5. Worked on my Romans and 2.0, but it's not something I'd constantly remove and replace. http://www.harborfreight.com/16-piece-precision-screwdriver-set-4143.html

i searched harbor freights website but this didnt come up, i ordered one that tom suggested last night, but I'm going to pick up this set as well, cheap enough. thank you very much

If you have other hobbies that require small drivers, I highly recommend buying the Wiha precision nut driver sets. you can find them on Amazon. I bought the standard and metric sets, love them.

Are most of you putting the grips on just by using the adhesive backing or are people screwing them in place as well?

If screwing, is it best to stick them in place first and then screw the holes with them in place?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a template for the ESB model? I'm really worried about screwing up the placement.

Wow! I'm glad that I got one for the May 4th sale. Truly, a legendary replica. I may leave it unconverted. What a fun ride!

I literally just ordered one three days ago. Glad I did! Can't wait to get it.

Are you ever going to restock, or was this it?
