When HB1098S mentioned the V2 I thought he was talking about the updated GRAFLEX Roman was showing off. Roman put up a link to his Luke V4 and then HB1098S posted that he bought one. I never would have guessed that's what he was interested in when he said V2 in the GRAFLEX thread.
So, if @Romans Empire is cool with it, I vote we call this the ROMANFLEX R2. R2 is short for Run 2. And it won't get confusing at all when we say Roman is building R2's. :lol

I'm really not sure what to call it, but I know I want to try and avoid "2.0". No offense to Korbanth, I just don't want additional confusion.
I guess Gen. 2 would be easiest. I dunno. Maybe the STRAIGHT PIN version...

I noticed they were straight, but wasn't sure if that was intentional or just a quickie render. Does this mean the bottom will be a FOLMER stamping too? Any chance the sides of the clamp card holder bit will get a little squarer on the sides or will they remain rounded to be a tell that they're reproductions?
p.s. I would still love a Gen.2 in a STAINLESS STEEL variant with all the stampings in Aurebesh! Just sayin'. Ya know, if you felt like asking your guys to try it at the end of the run or something to see if they could do it. Call it an Artist's Proof, Special Edition, Everlasting Prototype, or the like, your choice. I hear 316/316L is an excellent, long-wearing STAINLESS STEEL, and would make a beautiful GRAFLEX Lightsaber.
p.s.s. Is the current PRE-ORDER now that's coming around Thanksgiving going to be the same as the surprise variation that's coming at Christmas? Or is that a part that you get at Christmas if you pre-order now to add to your Thanksgiving Gen. 2 ? Or will there be another pre-order for the Christmas Variation Gen. 2 after Thanksgiving? I'm so confused.:wacko

Just a thought would the top half of gen2 fit the bottom and clamp of Gen1.? Would it be possible to buy the top half only? Could there be extra parts available for us that bought the gen1 and would like to upgrade?
i haven’t converted my gen 1 yet but certainly interested in a more accurate version, I’m planning on making an ESB so will be adding grips to the bottom and tape round the clamp so won’t matter if the colours are not perfectly matched....
would like striaght pins, smoother hood and shorter ears as i expect the gen2 will have
