Started on the TFA conversion.
A friend offered to turn the glass eye on his lathe for me but i decided to do it by hand.
Just waiting for some Roy parts now.

I like it. Quite some time ago I posted pics of this lightsaber from (I believe) a Vanity Fair photo shoot. I was told that did not appear on screen and was only for (publicity) shots.
I liked it irregardless and modified one of my glass eyes like that.

Actually there are a few shots showing the filed eye in the film.
I also believe that the Wired photos (also showing the filed eye) are of the screen used Maz box saber.

Which blade holder are you using? Does it fit true or is there a miss alignment

None of the blade holders available from the usual places will fit without misalignment - SH, KR, TGS, TCSS. Both SH and KR are working on versions specific to this replica. So we wait.

Notification received today, I ordered July 4th so Roman is working hard. I'm gutted about the blade holder issue but fortunate that I didn't order in advance as this is my first Saber let alone Graflex so I wanted it in hand and start learning before embarking on an ambitious chassis/chamber build. I'll be waiting for KRS to get an updated blade holder and use that. Is it at all possible to completely ream out the original insert to accommodate a blade? seems a lot of work as KRS and OS will have a new version out in no time I suspect but just curious.

Guys, the blade holder thing is only an issue if you're making an FX version... which I understand of course a lot of people are. That said, Roman DOES know about it, and I believe there are solutions in the works from multiple angles. Chill out... lets see what the rest of this week and next holds in store for a solution.
