Hey all, I've been drawing up ideas in my head since quarantine and a few weeks ago, I've decided to finally just start building an iron man suit, the Mk 4. Making the panels from foam is easier than I expected and I haven't run into many issues, the problem is how clunky the parts on my waist are. I know that people connect the knee joints, elbows, etc. although I want to join as many if not all the joints including the chest, abs, and cod piece using hard parts (nothing like straps/elastic stuff). I have explored a few ways of connecting them with sliders and actuators but they all seem to be too complicated and don't work very well so If any of you have any ideas or things that work, it'd be greatly appreciated. (I will also take soft connections because I still don't fully know how most people keep parts from getting misaligned and clunking into each other).
