SHipping usually runs about 20-30 bucks inside the states but I hear the rates changed so im not certian.

They're pretty tough, but you wouldnt want to kick one around your yard or anything. The ones with full painjobs are fine to handle but sort of beg for careful treatment.

They're mainly urethane and marble, so I dont think you will have any issues storing one for as long as you need- but Ive never tried it.

Watching this thread with more than just a little interest for the Alien 1 rebuilt version to be available...with an inner jaw, of course.

I dont think you will have any issues storing one for as long as you need- but Ive never tried it.

I was mostly worried about it degreasing if it wasnt in a climate controlled environment but that would probably be more an issue with foam and latex than anything else, right?

It should be fine - latex long term is the real killer. That said, I went with a polystone one just to be sure!

Currently thinking about my display options - am fortunate to have an M41A and a *beautiful* morgan13 M240 flame unit, as well as a Halcyon fachugger and a chestburster! The possibilities!

You could almost set up a life-size diorama if you have a man cave and the space to fit it all.

The trouble is space. I have about 15 of the Kotobukiya Star Wars figures - they look great - but the take up a huge amount of space. Then there's the 1000+ movies, my PC, my Neca 18" figs, the various other props and kits I have...

I need another house!

The tounge is in the works. It was pretty far along when I found the more accurate tubing and redid the whole thing. By monday we should have a mold ready with any luck.

The jaws have to be stationary either open or closed. To do it any other way would require an understructure with a molded "skin" on top and just take too long, cost too much, and be too labor intensive. So the choices are open/ closed, and behind the jaws/ sticking out.

Ooooh, the agony of choice!!! My gut's telling me sticking out, open, but let me think about it for a little bit? I think it would be quite striking like that..?
