But the REAL Nomad is "flawed... and imperfect"!

That one looks pretty good. :thumbsup

I really do dig this project and you're off to a fine start!

However, you are not allowed to take orders for anything in this forum. You would have to have a "showoff" thread here and then a seperate "for sale" thread in the Junkyard.

Looks great so far. Is it resin?
I was thinking about producing a fiberglass shell kit of NOMAD with Starska.
He has the original Paramount plans.
Did you use those plans?
Keep up the good work.

:thumbsup

I have a lot of reference material as well as some stills from the show.
But I am always looking for more ?

I don't think you can do much better then the plans from Paramount. I think you should consider aluminum sides which would be great. I am interested in this project. I can't think of anything much cooler then a full scale Nomad in the house!

Thanks
I will have this nomad light up and talk as well.
Look for more pictures this weekend.

Interest thread in the main forum?

There's a reason why there is a wait period for people to post in the junkyard. I have a problem when someone attempts to bypass that and heads straight to the main forum with no regard for the process.

This needs to be handled the proper way.

1) Run a showoff thread in the main forum.

2) When you have a completed piece to show and you can post in the junkyard, run a "for sale" thread there.

If people want to buy from you, fine. We're all hobbled by the rules a bit but we play along...C'mon.
I think you'd be better off to establish yourself a bit first.

Rylo,

I could not agree more. I have edited this thread and contacted the member to provide further understanding of the boards policies. Lets turn this into a great showoff thread!
