Star Trek Nomad scratchbuild

Here is my full size scratchbuild of Nomad. He is mainly plywood clad in aluminium sheet. Flashing leds provide his lights. I have put a sound chip in there with some lines from the episode which can be selected by turning a knob and also an mp3 player with bits on it that can play at random should he be in an exhibition. The upper set of lights flash in response to the sound.
I made the model years ago but have not taken any photos that were good enough until now.

I love it! I think your choice of paint may be a little dark, though.

Thanks people. Yep, not sure about the paint colour, but it's appearance changes a lot in different lighting (which is why colour is hard to know, I suppose).

Thanks people. I always avoid discussions of being imperfect with Nomad. Alarmingly, he is on display next to Orac, so the conversations there must be fraught.
