I updated my model, I'm considering getting it 3D printed on an OBjet or something.

Old post May 25,2015:

I started up an INT thread last year but only one person expressed any interest for a badge. While that isn't enough to justify the work in making molds I decided just to put the files up here for free!

I modeled this in Autodesk Fusion on May 25th 2015, happy memorial day!

So if you want one just download and print it and finish it off yourself. If you don't have a 3D printer I do offer printing as a service and offer discounts to RPF members just fyi.

You can download the stl from my dropbox here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dqly2gjspquliq1/demo_man_badge.stl?dl=0

It'd cost me about $65 to get it printed in high quality so you can see the build lines. Whatyda think should I pull the trigger?

Did you hollow out the back side of it? Might be able to save some money there.

Attached is some of Tom Southwell's production art for the badges.

Yeah it's pretty thin, I see from your picture that I need to add that wide recess around the edge. Then a little dry brush would really bring out the contrast.

There are some slight differences between Tom's concept art and the finished badges. I'd refer to the film first :)
