Ive seen on google maps that his shop is in an old Victorian factory of sorts. I'm not local to go a check it out as I live near the south coast.

Hey empire, Thank you for trying, thought you might have been closer, i hope we can get this sorted out at some point.

So everyone knows, KB Props has about 4 full sets of FOTK armor in-stock with helmet. They are ready to ship. Cost is $850 USD and they are currently offering 10% Off. I can get you in touch with them if you need or want.

Hey crook knight, thank you for letting me know, at the moment I’m a bit low on funds thanks to you know who, I’d like to do it but at the moment I kind of need to recover a bit, I’ll definately keep KB props in mind when I can do it.

After being ripped off by mimic and saint's customs, it feels like I'm done with sequel trilogy costumes.

This is the response I got from RFP Management.

Sorry for the late reply but we are still actively working on the site upgrade. As mentioned by Art, a member's first name and email address are part of our privacy policy (this covers all members).

When sales issues arise, the buyer usually has the most up-to-date email address for the seller or at the least, the seller's PayPal information. Which in this case is sadly going unanswered. Nevertheless, we have sent an email to the seller instructing him to resolve this issue or have his account banned.

Ultimately, banning the seller is our only recourse and once that happens the seller will obviously not be able to reply to or update any exciting threads or messages (not that it looks like that will happen). As a result, we try to give the seller every opportunity to make good before instituting a ban. We encourage members to use the options available to them for recovering their money (PayPal dispute, credit card dispute, etc.).

I have exhausted every avenue to get my money back, haven't heard back from the ombudsmen yet, might have to send another email regarding this.
I looked at mimics profile and laid a complaint against him regarding this matter as well.

I'm a bit confused here about the identity of MIMIC. I hear the name Paul Taylor. I also bought some replica's from MIMIC, and always got Sara Watson to send payments too. So I assumed MIMIC was a she... When I look up the name of Sara Watson, I get this website www.sarawatsonartist.com. It has the props I bought from her on it (Gizmo, Mars Attacks Gun, ...). There is no trace of stormtrooper armour on that site, though.

Is it possible that the "MIMIC" account is shared between Sara and Paul and they both do runs here (and most likely know each other)? It seems that Paul Taylor is causing all the problems here, but Sara Watson actually is delivering (but not communicating)...

Yeah, I've had that same Idea about the Account. And it looks like she is based in the UK And not the US As she told me? Unless she flys over here for work?

The things I got from Sara were indeed all shipped from the UK, yes... Was the stormtrooper armour (for those who already got some things) shipped from the US?

Maybe I'll take a look at the box Gizmo came in. Most likely the address of the sender is on there. I'll take a look this evening and post the address here...

No from the UK so it seems they are based here!? Seemed to me that they were based in the U.S? I've sent an email to the other email from her site so hopefully, she will reply.

Yes if it is possible to find out what is going on exactly, would be nice to talk to Sara to get some form of clarification, I wouldn’t want her reputation ruined because of someone else that she trusted.

Mmm, the box is already in the garage with some old papers in it. I'll take a look this week, but it's too dark to get over there now...

It seems weird that he would send out perfectly completed first halves (as he is obviously capable of good work) then just bail on the second half...

Agree. I just wish we would here something. But I think it is safe to assume he had taken off with the money. If he actually did have 3 people helping then we should have heard something weeks ago. I guess it was all one big lie.

Not if he spent all the money he made and can't afford the material to finish the second halves.

Often people go into a run with the best intentions, and then spend the money they get on some supplies and then on their own personal living expenses and bills. Then the project drags and they need to rely on more people placing orders so they can get money to finish up the earlier orders.... it is usually at this point that a downward spiral happens. Soon there are no more new orders coming in and no more money flow, and then the delays and excuses happen trying to buy themselves some time. Then they ultimately just bail and disappear because they know they cannot face everyone and they know they have exhausted the same old excuses.
