Mimic has taken everyone for a ride.. ive seen this before unfortunately! Hes dragged this out over a long peroid so everyone who payed by PayPal has seen the 6 month period come and go!! Im sorry for everyone on this run.. ide love Mimic to come back on here and prove me wrong.. but its not gonna happen!

Well PayPal are no help, my message had just been deleted and no reference to my complaint, probably due to the expiry period

Yeah, I am past my PayPal claim as well. No credit card attached to it either.

What kills me is that this same thing happened to me with a Kylo kit. Brenda Shaper Took my money and stopped responding. That was years ago. Still not settled. So when I had finally recovered and saved up for a FOTK, I did my research and MIMIC looked like the best, and his reputation was great. He had made other stuff and people raved about him. So I figured I was set. Besides, what is the chance of it happening to me twice....

If your having trouble getting updates on mobile what I did was click the unwatch thread that highlighted in blue then pushed again. It kinda reset everything and it works. Also go to your settings and find the notification area. Make sure it is clicked to receive email notifications. That's the only way to get notified now due to the stupid not supporting Tapatalk anymore

Is there a way to make a claim in Paypal if you have passed the 6 month refund period?

No there is nothing we can do with PayPal. I tried already and got back pretty quick that since it's past the 6 months time period then it's on us. It's stupid but should have listened to my gut feelings when I was still in my time period...

All of this just pisses me off. We were lied to and taken advantage of. I guess Paul Taylor (MIMIC) must think we are all millionaires and that the money grows on a tree. This was hard earned money that he has stolen. The way I see it, is he is a criminal and I will pursue in any manner possible to get justice.

Just wish it did not have to come to this.

I agree, I'm just confused on being able to pursue anything business related internationally. With different laws and everything from the US to UK

I've had a look at Interpol, first the issue must be raised with local authorities, UK then from there depending on how many countries are involved could possibly go from there.
Also would depend on how much is involved $ wise.
It could be a way of starting something that can stop any future fraud on this individual's part, possibly.

This may be too low key and not big enough for any one police department to be interested in, I'm not sure at this point.

The only thing I can say in future, is I made a payment through PayPal, if they only have a six month window for refunds then in future have your own policy for dealing with anyone through PayPal, if a product is not delivered in the six month window file for a refund regardless.
Make it your policy to protect yourselves, that is probably the only positive I can come up with in future for everyone.
It sucks that this has happened to so many of us, as crook knight has said, its our hard earned cash with we have fronted up with, we must be more diligent in future to keep ourselves as safe as possible.

Yes I agree, but police in any part of the world will probably say not big enough to try and go after.
Around where I am, police only respond immediately to a theft if firearms are stolen.
That unfortunately is the way of the world, not big and jucy enough for a report.

I dont think our police would do anything? I will have to check on our laws. Maybe The best bet is to get in touch with trading standards as they are the best bet here in the UK!

Yeah, the best bet is to contact trading standards so I.E The County council of Manchester and Hampshire council. Will Contact them tomorrow and see what they say on this. Crookkinight can you let me know about the armour please bud cheers!

Well my bank have said no to the credit card side as their time frame is only 60 days compared to 6 months at PayPal.

File a police report locally would be the first step. Best thing would be talk to a lawyer in your area to determine options. People affected might be able to file a claim uner homeowners/renters insurance....

Lawyer would be the last place to go, they'd charge what I have lost just for the privilege of me being in their presence.
I don't have any hope for home insurance either, they won't cover anything like fraud.
Might start with police locally and go from there, give them all the details for possible international angle? We'll see how we go.
