So Anovos has just announced these two new Helm. Unfortunate they wont be offering a white version for the time being. So MIMIC take it away my man!

This armor looks amazing. With Anovos screwing around with release dates on their FO kit, I'm very tempted to get onto this run. Do you have any current images of this armor? Are you planning to ship them with a solid white paint job or with the black executioner details?

Re: FOTK First Order Stormtrooper armor for sale- RUN FULL.

I am interetested in a set of armor. are there still spots open?

Well I'm impressed. After all the trouble I've gotten with ANOVOS you may very well have my business.

Mimic, I had a question. I was talking to someone who said that flexible resin often is prone to warping in the heat, which means never leaving it in the car, being careful where you store it, etc. Do you know if this is true for the product you're using? I live in AZ, so sometimes armor needs to take some higher heat.

Thanks!

Hey Clint

This armor will be pretty sturdy itll be fine for sunny days, its not like a polyurethane resin that will sag in heat. Fibreglass products if stored incorrectly though can definitely change shape but over time. Best to store it without anything on or near it.
If left in its correct shape with no pressure on it, kept in the coolest darkest driest area of your property I doubt you'll have any issues- essentially look after it and it should last a very long time, we'll be storing ours on mannequins as I think that's the best way to keep everything looking perfect.
If it's left in pieces in a pile in the corner of the room for 2months it's probably not going to do so good.

hope that helps

Ok, thanks for the feedback! So the reality is that many of us store our armor in our totes. It's not practical or desireable for me to stick mannequins in the house. Mannequins also are a pain if you troop regularly at all because I don't really like having to unload everything after every troop and dress a mannequin and then undress and reload everything before every troop. Are you saying that if it's stored in a tote it will start to warp soon? I'm sure we can do things to try to stack it neatly and minimize the impact, but it will be tough to expect everyone to have it out on display at all times. I'm just trying to get a feel how touchy it really is.

Thanks!

I have jim tripon fiberglass shore. Worse thing that ever happened was I left kit in my car and didn't stack my armor well. I bent up a shoulder bell that i had to bend back in place. Low heat to inside non painted part and lots of patience

Re: FOTK First Order Stormtrooper armor for sale- SPOTS OPEN!!

Hey

It won't ever just warp or reform shape or get a wobble on its own. So long as you store it for example with the chest on the yoke together and the leg halves connected up and nothing is left squished or mishapen it will not encounter any problems. In a tote is fine but not stuffed in, better to leave a couple of parts out and just sat somewhere, it's leaving the parts mishapen by pressure for extended periods and failing to care for them in that way that would cause a problem. The materials are used In all sorts of industries on a daily basis, on aeroplanes, boats and cars, its pretty tried and tested material I've chosen it specifically for this project as I think it's better than any other option available.
