Dude this is just too damn awesome I love the paint job and to answer your question I would say to keep the sockets deep like a skull, but that is just me.

welp,.....first one i did i wanted to see how transparet it could be along with how thin i could get away with,.....
problem is after a half inch of resin it loses it " see-thru " quality so i went ahead and painted it,......i figure midway thru ( if i continue to use automotive resin )
i'll add a sheet or two of fibercloth,.....it's pretty strong as is,.....but will be damn near unbreakable once i add some of the cloth so,.....
i'd hate to hear a horror story of someone dropping it and it cracks in half ,....

making them as tough as helmets is the only solution ,......i think ,....

I wouldn't say that at all, Phil. Two completely different designs. Though organic, separate concepts, background stories, etc. You did an AWESOME job on this bad boy and should be quite proud. Do I really have to point out how many people produce their version of the P1? People respect that you took this from concept to final paint. There is something to be said about accomplishing that, versus studying pictures and recreating (Which is not intended as a knock towards any repro sculptors; I consider myself one at this point).

Guan-thwei brought up a great point. Is there a way to push the lenses back even further? Make them a flat black? Maybe even just black pantyhose over clear lenses to maintain the shape...

yea actually the sockets way deeper than it looks,.......once i cut the eyes out it'll probably go back another half inch at least,....
then i'll probably use a flat black goggle like they have down at the honda shop,.....tattooed a girl in there so she owes me ,....

i need to splish splash more resin around the edges,......since it was a bowl shape ( obviously ) alot the thickness ended up in the front so,....
don't want the jowels parts to crack ,.......

thought about making shoulder bells out of 2 of them when and if i get the whole P1 suit done,....
might as well customize when possible,......

found a good seam and a nice thick mold,.....

thank you much ,......got 3 ready so far,.......need to try different paint schemes before i decide whether or not to sell any,....
not really sure,......i'm happy with how it fits a half mask,.....but i might make my own that fits EXACTLY that way people have the option
of getting the undermask also,.....

i'm on it,.....right now i'm flooded with other things but,....soon ,...very soon ,....

actually yea i figured since i didn't want to put this bio on a normal P1 or P2 suit,......figure i might make a very old -style suit with bone armor ,....maybe giant hand claws for shoulder bells,......or skulls for shoulders/ knees that kinda thing,.....it fits a half mask pretty well but i wanted the change the way it fits and make it somewhat different that way it all melds into the same style,......trophy hands are just about done so i'm ready to get crackin on the pred stuff again,....

i'll keep this thread posted and just put it all in one thing,......
