Force Fx Conversion

Hello.

I have an original Luke episode IV force Fx lightsaber that no longer lights up. Sound works excellent on it. I wanted to remove the blade and put in high intensity LEDs and have just a hilt. Problem is I can not figure out or find documentation anyplace that shows how to remove the blade. It appears to have one visable screw but still won't slide out. If anybody can help it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thank you. This will help quite a bit. Mine is a little different in some areas but should work for me. Thank you again for the help.
