Foam Sculpting My First Bio - Beyond The Final Rung

If I may add an editorial, God is honored in your generosity.  Too many "religious" folk have other agendas and give Christianity a bad name.  This does not mean that the truth becomes less true, only that the perception becomes tainted due to swindlers, politicians, and even the clergy who fail.  Your act of kindness is proof in the pudding that the spirit of God can flow through His children, and does.
Thanks for the example, Steve.

Steve, YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING!  Dude I have to say I am shocked. I also have to say that I believe this should go on your wall not mine. If you just have to give it away I will place it in my home somewhere for all to see. As of now only my art fills my walls. It will be a true honor to have this up with my stuff. If you ever decide you want it back for what ever reason I will send it. You never know someday when your son is older he might say "I sure wish I had that first bio", and I will have considered it an honor to have held it for him. Thanks again not just for the bio but for the inspirational build.  By the way I have never won anything but I have to say he good Lord has blessed my life in many ways so I try not to ask for much. Thank you and thank your son for grabbing the correct piece of paper. Ha.

Jeff, it is yours for you to do with as you please...no strings attached. My kids are all interested in helping me to make more and it will help me to determine their particular giftings and talents. I will get it packaged up and on its way and I hope you enjoy it.

That is super cool Steve!!!! God bless you my friend. Not many people around these days with a heart of gold like yours. Congrats to Jeff!

This whole build has not only showed us what is capable from the people and family here, but has served to draw us all together in ways that we could not expect.

JehdinThwei  said it correctly!!!!!

The Master maker has sure had HIS hands in this whole endeavor!!

It has been awhile since I posted to this thread so just wanted to update that I have not fallen off the face of the earth.

I have been covered up needless to say but I am making progress getting some more helmets cast up. Here is the proof. A level 1 and 3 level 2's.

I now have a Smooth-on pressure pot and it makes a world of difference in the quality of the interior detail castings which saves me a HUGE amount of time reworking the parts. i am in the process of making another fully loaded level 2 bio like the one above for Lem. It will have some minor improvements over the first one. Mainly the resin will be darker so it shouldn't show any scratches as easily and the switch for the LED's/Lasers will be a push-on/push-off type instead of the momentary initially used. Here is a quick shot of the progress on it. By the way, the Apoxie Sculpt is the way to go for installing the fixed detail pieces. Thanks for the tip Jason (PredatrHuntr). I have also had good success with instant glue and Squadron Green Putty as well.

P.S. I spent some time today researching the P1 Backpack. Found some really good pics in the reference gallery to work from.

A back pack say you?  Oh joy oh joy oh joy!  That will definitely be one worth watching as well!

Hey Steve, happy to see something from you. A backpack huh. I can't wait for you to motivate me on a backpack. Maybe we will be building one at the same time.
I still need to do one for Topknot. Of course I have to do something different for him. I have done a full radio controlled one in the past but this one will be back to hard wired stuff. I have already sculpted a maquette  of one but I'm may do a couple more to get it down. Hope the bio assembly line is going well.

Well Jeff, I am still waiting for you to decide how to display it. I need some more ideas but i like the turntable direction you were thinking of. And yes the bio assembly line is almost up on the L2's.
