Holy $#!+!!! that bio looks better than the HCG bio. can't wait to have it in my hands Steve. I can't wait to see your Backpack and dreads project.

Hey Steve the new button and holder look great. I have a question, what are the 6 prongs all for on that switch?, Can that actually be used as an on/on for a forward and reverse action?

Hey Lem, glad you like it. I finished the paint and leather last night. it is now down to the lenses and lectronics (2L's) HA! Here are a few more shots of it.
Jeff, the switch is a DPDT so you could wire it to do one thing when pushed and another thing when pushed again.

Thank you Lem. You are too kind... I hope that the pictures have done what you will soon be getting to actually lay your hands on justice. I am quite pleased with how it turned out overall and I hope you will be too when you get it. The lasers lined up well on it and the leather installation went much smoother so I must be getting better as I go but it was not without is teaching/learning opportunities to be sure. As I have said before I learn something new every time I build one of these or kit one up and it helps to make improvements in the product. I look forward to hearing what you think when you get it.

Well....I am working on making some dreads on my other thread http://www.thehunterslair.com/topic/29354-dreads-first-pulls-04012013/ It is an interesting experience. I am finding that I love working with new materials and the flexible foam is really cool stuff. Still more work to do to refine them but the process is workable. I am also very close to having my level 2 bios to where I can add them to my sales thread so I am trying to get to that point which would more or less complete what I set out to accomplish in this thread. I have also started collecting every picture I can get my hands on of the P1 backpack as I want to start working on one of them soon. I haven't started yet as I am still in the research phase of it. Lflank, this would of course encompass a plasma caster as it is a part of a backpack. I am also looking to make a rotocaster using battery powered rotisserie grill motors so I don't have to deal with belts and pulleys or gears or slip rings. I think it would help keep it simple and keep the costs down. Just something I want to try. There is sooo much to do and I often struggle to have the time to do work on stuff but I am trying to be somewhat strategic about it. Thanks for asking Lee.

OK...it has been a little while but here is the beginnings of another one I am working on for Clay. All the parts and sub-assemblies are ready to go. I just have to put it together. Just a few shots which are nothing really new but show the progress so far. I hope to have a couple of these kits up in the maketplace soon.
All the fixed parts installed..
Primed and the base coat applied to all the parts.
Next up will be sponge painting on the colors and detail so more to come.
