Chin guards look neat, but if you're trying to do a run of these, I'd lose it. It's not going to fit a wide variety of faces snugly, so interest may be lowered out of caution. Just a thought.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'll be keeping the chin guard. My first priority is to use this cowl for my own suit. If there's enough interest to do a run, then that's awesome and I'd love to do that for people. If they don't want the chin guard or are worried that it won't fit, it can easily be trimmed up to fit under the jaw like most cowls.

I think it is absolutely critical you interpret the mask as you see fit. Every FX artist has and you are no different. That being said, the ears look a bit different. Is it the photo? I would measure each against one another. I am excited for you. This looks nice.

Thanks buddy! Now that you mention it, I do see that the ears are different lengths. I'll get that cleaned up along with a few other things before I cast it.
