Im hoping that this works,Im totally useless on a PC/Laptop,I created a photobucket account -and have done as it said.....this is for those of you who showed interest in my 'first evers' in my introduction a few weeks back - Yes Im a full time Professional Make-up Artist, but this is my FIRST ever attempt at sculpting a head ! let alone a Yautja . . . so be kind please - Im hoping to get some real ideas as to how to get a cast of the 'head' in latex/vinyl.......the Bios are Fibreglass - the 'smooth' one looked like the other one at the end of Feb : ) Im happy with it

I see the pics and they are awesome. I like the sculpt too. It's a bit different and I love the deep inset eyes. I'm sure there are people that can help you figure out the latex bit from that sculpt. Also love the dark Bios. I just painted one of mine and I'm not liking the color. The Black looks very good.

Sculpt looks good, different to the norm, but in a good way. Thats the cool thing about preds, everyone has their own feel so there is no right or wrong way at how it should look. Are you planning on selling these when you're done. That smooth black bio looks awesome. Whose bio's are they, did you scuplt them?

As far as the moulding there are huntorials to look through, or PM one of the mods, they're all more than helpful.

Thanks for this comment : ) Im pleased with my work on the sculpt, the deep set eyes are intentional, its gonna be an elder with scars etc.... and the colour of the (smooth) Bio is the same as my car - its Peugeot Grey Mettalic ! I did apply two coats of clear varnish, now its in the boot of my car to get a bit 'weathered' . . . .

Thanks 3Jack 0/ sculpting is so theraputic too ! the Bios are in fibreglass from a guy in the North of UK who sells them as motorbike fairings ! they arrive as rough as a scrap yard dog, and I spent around a week getting it smooth and filled ( i got a blog of the build going on photobucket as soon as I learn how to! ) as for selling them ? Errr - I wouldnt sell my first one,(thats the smooth finished one in pic) but will think about doing a few more and see if its viable...it costs me around £60 to complete one. . .

If they're motorbike fairings how big are they? Do they fit your head? Funnily enough I saw some on ebay a while back and the motorbike fairing thing put me off cos I thought they'd be way undersized.

Sorry, I meant to ask if you were planning on selling pulls of your sculpt eventually not the bios

The Bio's are 'regulation' size - Its a full size almost 12 inch across and 19 inch from chin to back of helmet ? the guy advertises he can fit metal brackets prior to sending,I guess these would fit over the front headlight kinda thing? not a full fairing size!
Im hoping to get some other MUA to take the casts of the 'head' in Latex - its not something Ive tried before : ( I'll see how that comes out and get an idea of how to do it myself and see what they'd cost to make/sell - I'll keep you in the loop ? Thanks : )

Yeah, keep me in the loop, the sculpt is really growing on me

Thats a fair size on the bio then, I'll have to keep me eyes open when they come up. Keep us updated
