Fire Spray 31 patrol and attack craft from Oovo IV prison

Read the entire thread and it's an epic one at that. Loving the way you're tackling that difficult ship but most of all for all the mini-tutorials that comes with it. Well explained and well photographed; defo following this with much interest. (love the middle set-up with the pipe btw):cool

Yep, middle pic, looks good tucked into the cutouts, maybe some 1/12 crankcases below it if you got them Mike, either way, pack that sucker up in layers, it'll look awesome!

Thanks guys i like the middle one myself, just pulled back a bit
so the T fitting shows a bit more. 1/12 crank cases I have to
look for some cheap ones if that's possible in that scale? LOL

What I would have love is to have these plumbing
parts in a light metal like copper. I would take them into
work and burn them with a torch and discolor them! I am
going to snoop around home depot today on my way in
and see what I find.Plus I could solder the parts...kind
of cool!:)

Sounds god guy!

Well I didn't have the room i needed in all that
area to do what I wanted. The curvature of the
hull was not allowing me to have an equal amount
of depth in the area where I needed it. Which was about 32mm
so I had to add it back in until I had a space where the depth
could be the same.

A pic of a piece of styrene I spliced back in.

Couple pics of building the recess box...

Manifold thingy.....this kind of changed as of now and it's
glued in.

And some bashing I have more done it now....

Not for me I find this part totally mundane! That's why I
I am working on it now I want it finished, so I can work on
the wings that's a better challenge!:thumbsup

Love the direction you've gone with this mate, bashing looks great & purposeful!.
I'd love to do something like this after the Falcon, add my own parts & interpretation of details, just as you have done & also
Lasse with his BR. Be great to be not 'locked in' to keeping all the details canon!.

Can't wait to see you tackle the wings Michael.

Hmm the greebles seem almost too busy...I dunno just my 2c. The rest of it is looking fantastically clean as always!

I don't worry over such things.....because it's
not real it's not worried over me....LOL
99% of the time it will be sitting on the landing
skirt, I will get a sheet of mirrored acrylic and mount
the model above it.Then you you will just see the parts
on the mirror should be cool!
