I wanted to get the bottom in this thing just to
make it more rigid.




Then I started on the fender well bulkheads, I wasn't sure how I
was going to sort this out, but I decided to form another fender
and see if it would help me. I kept trimming it until I had a good
template to get the inside shape.Then I cut it out of some styrene.
It has a few angles I tried to get it to fill as much of the gaps inside.
Have no idea exactly what the original looks like but I made it work
for mine. LOL

Looking killer Michael, the size really is impressive mate!.
Whether it looks more Finemolds over Actual mini is irrevelent, it is a Slave-1!.
Your attention to getting it to look right & fit is admirable mate, well done!.
Look forward to every update you do.

Your kind of caught up in the whole process of me building it from
the beginning, the thread with daily posts can do that. But if you
separate the time of making the parts, from actually putting it together
you could see it goes together rather quick. If you start on it in Nov you
will easily have it on the bench by the end of the month. I don't mean finished
but in a way you can look at it and smile at least.:D

Fly over and show you nah......I don't want to remember! LOL It's not
that bad making the parts was harder for me than putting it together.
I never really know what I am doing I just do it.......if I want it I make it,
that doesn't mean it's perfect but it means I made it! LOL

It def looks nothing like the Slave-1 from the movie Stu,
I opened that Chronicles book one time....then I closed it
just as fast! LOL I don't know if it can be made to look more
like it either? I could build the wings on it, spray it with primer
and be done with it. Most of the challenge is out of it for me
now anyway! LOL I just wanted to see if I could make it...I made
it big deal move on right? There is always something harder to
be made that's how you get better!

I am not painting mine as Jango or Fett's version. To me the model is what it
is a Firespray Patrol ship. Reading up on it there were only 6 made and they were
police prototype ships. All 6 were in service on the asteroid prison Oovo IV, where
Fett stole one when his ship was destroyed, he launched two missiles into the hanger
and destroyed the other 5 remaining firesprays. So I want to paint mine with a police
prison theme maybe with some number markings on it maybe the name of the prison.
The Slave-1 fell into a few hands and Fett seemed to get it back also, but I read it was
repainted green by another bounty hunter.

The ship changed a lot from the history told even Fett's history! LOL

So I want to paint it and think about how it looked
when it was on Oovo IV more fun! :)
