Finally finished my ANH Vader MPP and completed my ANH set

I've been sitting on my Roman MPP since he did the first run and finally decided to order parts from Roy in the beginning of December. Then completely by coincidence and luckily for me he posted his awesome new blueprint of the ANH Vader. The parts from Roy came the other day and then yesterday, after 7 weeks of waiting for USPS to deliver from Philadelphia to Baltimore, my 3M mounting tape came and I was able to put it together. The mounting tape is so much easier than the epoxy I used on Luke's.

I haven't decided if I want to update my Luke with the extra rivets and D ring and all. I'm probably going to at least order a couple more of Roy's new bubble strips to update Luke's and Obi Wan's though because they're awesome.

These three ANH sabers look great together! Awesome job! You even braved the nail through the MPP clamp?

I was a little nervous about it, but went ahead with it. Getting the pin and screw out of the lever was a bit of a pain, I couldn't just get it to punch through so I tried drilling it out and then finally that pushed it through a little on the other side and I was able to pull it through with some pliers. It actually still works pretty well as a clamp. If I lift it up it gets loose, when I push it down it tightens plenty to hold the bubble strip and not move.
