Fight Club Tyler Durden T-shirts?

do you have the camp pants

I think there are only three red jackets. Xmart’s prototype is one of the three. I think they were all made from the pattern of the yellow/tan jacket seen here. Pockets were changed and collar is a bit different, especially on the xmart/Tom jacket. All three red jackets were made to fit Pitt’s measurements. They were all slightly short in length, wide shoulders, and boxy wide sleeves. Like a suit jacket or vintage leather blazer.

I think these are the same jackets.

And I think these are the same jacket. As you can see, one of the jackets has a more glazed appearance, and the other has a more dull/flat finish.

This is the first Logan Jacker I ever saw. This pic was on his site a long time ago. You can see it has a very similar fit to the jackets made for the film. The jackets he makes now are different. Sleeves are way more fitted. I think the sleeves on the film jackets were wider at the top, and tapered toward the cuffs

Speaking as someone who has 3 JALs, i can tell you that they are quite boxy but taper in at the bottom and then flair out again, The jacket above which is the first JAL we all saw and they're made like this now, this is just taken at a funny angle. The sleeves are wide at the shoulder, narrow along the forearm and then flair out at the cuff. The Soul revolver doesn;t do this and it's quite a unique part of the pattern. It does make the JAL a more flattering jacket to wear.

Since Max cady has been able to replicate almost all the costume pieces almost perfectly, and collectors have been able to find some of the original pieces that the costume dept used, a really accurate jacket, for me, is the most important piece in the entire wardrobe. It’s the only costume piece that has only been replicated once, and that’s the jacket Tom had someone make for him. And it still wasn’t in the same leather. If we know that there was an original sports tank print and motocross shirt print, than for me they’re not that special. The jacket on the other hand, was based on only one jacket known in existence. It’s special because neither Kaplan or Logan can give any info on it. The Max Cady Sock it to me shirt I own is in an XL. after being washed many times, it might as well be a vintage piece in 2020. An original sock it to me shirt is pretty much worthless. Same goes for the track pants. I can’t find any differences between the screen used track pants and Max cady’s pants. Finding an original doesn’t even matter. Eventually the original vintage wardrobe that the production found will be worthless. I can buy ten Max Cady motorcross shirts for the price that someone values an original motorcross print shirt. That’s why i think you guys should hang on to your hodgmans. They’re not copies. They’re the actual brand name boots Pitt wore in the film. I’m sure you guys can agree... my Max Cady maple leaf shirt literally turned heads in Silver Lake ( suburb of LA ). It’s the same shirt lol. It’s beautiful work from Max Cady. Nothing in the wardrobe is more TYLER than the jacket. No one can tell me that you’re gonna need one of those authentic mushroom print jackets when Max Cady made it almost perfectly. That’s my two cents. Take this from a guy who’s been searching for the brand of the original trilby Stallone wore in Rocky 1976 for a decade. No one knows the brand except for Stallone himself. Lol. Anyone with a lot of money to spend, can have an accurate jacket made by Logan and all the other pieces made by Max Cady. I think the fight club thing is over. Anything anyone finds right now won’t be of any real value unless they were used in the film. To finds another jacket like the one Jonny trooper found is the ultimate prize. The end all be all. Everything else is blah in 2020. No one is going to pay an extra $200 for a shirt because the fabric is more accurate. That’s done. I suggest that the collectors try and sell their original pieces before they become totally unsellable. They will.

Some of the maxcady replicas are better than others, but many of them fall far short of the authentic vintage pieces. I own at least one of every fight club replica maxcady has produced and I also own their true vintage counterparts. So I can compare them side by side and I'm not just talking about fabrics, the colors, details, fit etc. are all different. For example, the sock it to me they made is one of my least favorite replicas and doesn't hold a candle to the original. The moto and maple leaves aren't bad, but they are the wrong colors and materials. They just have a 'costume' feel to them. Same goes for the toucan, but I haven't come across a true vintage alternative for that one yet. On the other hand, the track pants are great and I really like the leaf hoodie.

There will always be a market for true vintage pieces as long as there are the collectors that appreciate them. I have pieces that I will never sell, because they are truly one-of-a-kind items with a 30, 40, or even 50+ year history behind them. But I like the replicas too and i appreciate them for different reasons.

Agree with this. The vintage pieces will always be in demand. Especially if they've been seen in a film. There will always be a market for them. Of course, that market fluctuates over time. With regards to the Max Cady stuff, not seeing the originals, i'm happy with them. I do know what you mean about them being a bit 'costumey' and not made to be day to day clothes. They are made for dressing up and a shame they're polyester and not cotton. But i do wear them from time to time and always get compliments. The Leaf hoodie though is a proper canvas jacket and would be fine to wear in the rain without it being damaged or anything like that. Looking forward to getting the boots in the new year and i'll never sell my originals, even though they're totally uncomfortable.

They're really heavy, they don't bend very easily, very stiff. Also they have felt soles which is great for standing in water, but not so great for walking on floor times or on the street. So they would need to be replaced. they look cool though.
