hey is the gothic rose wearable? I got those cheap **** from ebay and the rose lens literally hurt my eyes, also I was driving and realized the traffic light is wrong...I took off the glasses and it wasnt. The rose lense blocks red colours and the traffic light did not show red when I had the glasses on....

Are yours an actual Oliver Peoples frame with offical OP Gothic Rose lenses or a replica of OP-523? They never seemed to hurt my eyes or effected my vision, although it's not recommended to wear red lenses while driving. Sadly this is why OP will never re-release the 523 or Sunset frame.

no i just had a cheap replica. I dont get it though why dont they just change the lenses? it doesnt make a sense to withdraw the frame.. can you tell me where can i get those titanium japanese versions?

Yea I know, but that's what they told me. When I asked if either one would ever be re-released OP said: "Please remember that the 523 is a fashion-only frame - it doesn't really offer any protection from the sun or its harmful rays. I think the red makes it dangerous to even drive, as it makes it hard to see red and green lights. (These are reasons we never made many and won't make more)"
