Fight Club Tyler Durden T-shirts?

The ties came out great man! Did you make the stitching yellow on the lapel, or did it come like that?

A BIG THANK YOU goes out to Iamjwpc for his help on creating the tie!

I could not have done it without you bro. :cheers

I did make the stitching yellow on the lapel. One of those minor details that just makes it!

I was also really concerned with getting the right color and thickness of stripes on the suit. It really changes with the lighting and exposure. I went from tan to beige gray and finally settled on blue. But what shade of blue? Determining exactly what color to pick out took a long time, but I think I pretty much nailed it.

Just as an example, here are some crops of images of the actual suit from the movie I've collected over the years. Just look at the variation in color and hue!

He also has exactly 19 stripes starting at the top of his lapel. Just another example of my obsession with detail.

I am Jack's wasted life . . . :lol

It seems more white and grey or dark khaki. I wish someone would show the original screenused pictures. The movie had such color distortion that something that was one color looked the opposite at times.

I did tweak the colors in that pic. I tried to get it true as possible, but who knows. The original had a very strong green hue.

Ok a lot of images going to be incoming. I got the new Jonathan A Logan jacket and I have some comparison pics of the original leather he used versus the new one I picked out. It was to try and match the movie as much as possible. According to him, the jacket in the movie was painted so the color is hard to replicate on top of the film's color correction.

The criticism I got last year was my jacket didn't red. It doesn't really look red in a dark setting but in an outdoor setting it can look very red. The new jacket was designed to look red and I also matched it to my Oliver People's 523s. I have one with Blood red and one with Rose colored. The blood red matches my original jacket the rose (which is closer to Brad's color in the movie) matches the new jacket.

This is a big Halloween project with my friend playing the narrator. I do not have my hair styled like Tyler Durden in any of these pics but I can pull it off quite well.

I also do acting and modeling and we plan to act in character and I wanted to give myself a little bit of networking via the business cards which I printed my name on the back of them. I have been in a few TV shows and commercials and done runway :)

The pics will be in the next post.

This shows the old versus new Jonathan A Logan jacket. Color in a light and dark setting. Also have a few outdoor Brad comparison pics for color.

We are also going to be doing some filming and scene reenactments. We are going to be doing outfits different each day. We are also going to try and mimic some of the outfits from the movie. I have the boots Brad wore but I didn't have a lot of the original shirts so I had to make my own twists on them.

This was my attempt at creating the red indy 500 look. I used a McStud shirt which seems like it would be Tyler like being cocky. I also have red pants which look almost identical and Gucci shoes.

Finally here is some of the props which I am proud of. We have the business cards and we made soap... laundry detergent soap which ironically "works great on bloodstains" ;)

As you can see on the back of the card has my name. We plan to pass out soap (we have over 100 of them) and we placed the business card on top of it which has my name on the back.

Also included is our narrator's briefcase which I am still tweaking. I am going to add some plane tickets and a few other props. The glare makes the soap hard to see but its the pink and white.

White we called "Stainless White" and it "works great on bloodstains"

Pink we called "Bruiser Pink" and it is "great for cleaning dirty wounds"

Also shout-out to Ryan Lore for making the Motocross shirt. He was selling them earlier in the thread.

Man that's cool! Definitely looks like and over all better quality jacket. Does it happen to feel lighter than the older one? The new JAL looks more ironed flat/comfortable than the older one. The soap bars in the brief case are awesome!

The leather was more costly. I narrowed it down between two samples and I asked JAL his opinion. The one sample was a thinner leather so he would have to line it with something else so he recommended the other.

The new one is a fairly thick leather and actually weighs more then the other jacket.

The other thing was I sent in my original jacket amd had him modify the back since I felt it stuck out a little bit to closer match Brad's fit. He then created a pattern and made the new one like that too.

The soap we have is huge btw. Almost like a brick one unit weighs 14.1 oz.

I will have to upload a pic to show proportion sizes.

Ah, ok, nice work! Those soaps are monstrous :)!

Sweet jackets AJ. I think I prefer the darker one myself.

Dig those business cards with the thermographic print too. Where did you get them printed?

Office Max, but I have the design. The business cards are really nice, the glare in the one from the flash kind of masks how cool it is. Its a straight replica from the movie.
