Favorite NES/SNES games of all time?

NES: Super Mario Bros. 3. Closest I've ever gotten to knowing what it would be like to fly.

SNES: Super Metroid. The music, the environments, the mood, the enemies, the final showdown. A place for everything, and everything in it's place. Super Metroid is my favorite 2D game of all time.

Metroid
Bionic Commando
Excitebike
Ninja Gaiden (although it was IMPOSSIBLE for me)
Golgo 13
Super Star Wars
SMB 1-3
Contra

And so on, and so forth....there were a lot of great NES games.

Super Star Wars
Starfox
Super ESB
Cybernator

I actually ended up paying about 80 quid for Super Star Wars.......those were the days!

One of the WORST SNES games i ever played, but looked forward to forever was Jurassic Park......it was repetetive and just hideous...

Super Metroid
A Link to the Past
Street Fighter 2
Final Fantasy 2 & 3 (4 & 6)
Chrono Trigger
Secret of Mana
Super R-Type
Super Mario World
Super Punch Out

Metroid
Zelda
Zelda 2 (better than its rep)
Castlevania 1 & 3
Final Fantasy 1
SMB 1-3
Mega Man 2
Ninja Gaiden 2

Avoid Milon's Secret Castle like the plague. That game is stupid hard and doesn't do much to show you what to do.

Legend of Zelda
Final fantasy 2 and 3 and mystic quest
secret of mana
secret of evermore
chrono trigger
mario RPG
7th saga
shadowrun
Cybernator (I didn't know there were so many fans of it)
Megaman X
super metroid
there are others but these are the ones off the top of my head for the snes sadly I wasn't into RPGs when the NES was out. It disapointed the crap out of me that square didn't continue putting out collections of their games like the Final Fantasy Origins and such. They skimped out on FF3 (japanese release) in one of them despite including it in the Japanese collection. Then they give it to us as a nintendo ds game. I'd still like to see secret of evermore and secret of mana in a collection.

NES - River Raid, spent hours on that. Also there's a weird game called Bible Buffet, It's a ripoff of Candyland, but for some reason I'm addicted to it.

When Super Star Wars for SNES came out THAT was when I bought my first game system.
