Faora Hu-Ul Progress/Help Please

Oh I love working with foam. It's a blast and turning out better than expect for having to draw up my own patterns lol.

This is looking awesome! I can't wait to see more progress. Hers was my favourite suit of Kryptonian armour from the movie, so I'm very glad that someone's working on it!

Ok friends, here is where the "help please" portion of this thread comes into play. I have lost a lot of hours at work and my budget has tightened considerably. So, I may not be able to afford a completely accurate dye sub suit... So I'm looking at less accurate alternatives (I can spend the money on a suit later for a con farther away lol)

My question is, any ideas for affordable alternatives?

Hey Nice work there but do you have any pepakura files? so i can make one to :) thank you very much!

I actually don't, I have drawn up all the patterns by hand lol. Other than the handful I've shown at the beginning, I'm not currently offering up any of he files until I'm finished.

Ow i see, thanks anyway, keep it up hope to see your work done :) and i'll try to make a jor el and zod armor lol. Nice work again! and you really look like faora lol.

Thank you so much for the compliment! Yeah I'm going to start on a Zod for my roommate for next year, but I'm seriously considering offering up Faora commissions later this year.

Just saw the movie and now this build.. amazing work...looking forward to the next set of pictures !!:)

Great progress, for the body suit you could use the licensed costume just to get the underuit pattern to show threw and cover all the armor parts with your actual armor. this looks like it will be about $50. Here is the link and pic

You could just buy a blank black spandex suit and freehand the pattern with puff paint. Thats what I am doing for my kids, for Baltimore Comic-Con. One of my boys is going as Kal El, the other as Zod.

Hey if it works it works lol. The quality of the prints now on Halloween costumes is pretty damn good for mass produced, its just the fabric that is cheap.

Wow, it looks awesome! It looks like it would absolutely be a pain to put together but you did a great job. I love the shape of it.

This entire build has been a pain more than once... But this one little, seemingly innocent piece... I raged for about an hour lol
