Black Panther Costume help

Hi there I'm looking for some help and advice of the best solution for my Black Panther civil war costume.
I'm building a Black Panther civil war costume from scratch I've already built a custom muscle suit then put another Spandex bodysuit over the muscle suit and sealed it with an adhesive to the shape and emphasis the muscles my next stage is creating the shapes/patterns, the help/advice I'm looking for is once I create certain pieces I'm using 2mm Eva foam for the pieces once I have created the pieces shapes etc and heat seal them I'm using seal prime or hexflex then using black gloss my question is 1. Should I glue the pieces onto the bodysuit first then tape up any gaps on the bodysuit and then clear coat the pieces or 2. Can I heat seal then seal prime/plastic dip then black gloss then clear coat and then attach the pieces I've been told clear coating first then attaching the pieces the clear coat may crack etc when shaping the foam around say the shoulder etc, but taping up the suit from the first option is going to be a long process as there is alot of gaps from the Eva foam and the bodysuit and I don't want the clear coat on the bodysuit incase it becomes stiff etc.
Any advice or suggestions would be gratefully appreciated and thank you for taking the time also.
