Fallout Alien Blaster Build

Sweet, its getting electronics.
Will the trigger just turn on the light, or do you plan on making it act like a bust of light per trigger pull. I came up with a simple circuit for triggered burst that I wan going to use for a Nuka Cola gun (that I never built)

Yes The switch is a momentary switch , so the lights are on only when the trigger is pulled . There will also be a sound card as well. Did you start the Nuka Cola Gun?

It isn't the thirst zapper, instead it was based on the concept art.
For the electrical I was going to use a flash capacitor circuit to dump a lot of power into a high current, ultrabright red LED. When the trigger was released the capacitor would be charging, when pulled it would dump into the LED and cause a flash. Just like a camera flash. Later I decided that it could all be controlled by a Aurdino so that I could add sounds. I designed a lot of it, but never built it, as I wanted the bottle to be clear and required rotocasting.

Man i just love every bit of Fallout, and the props we as people create from that universe. This build is looking great and can't wait to see the final pictures of it

That sounds like a great effect , I may have to try that on the next laster.

I hear You, I think it one of the Best Designed games ever. I don't play the game ( because of time ) but I have the the Art of Fallout book and a bunch of the collectables. .I plan to build a Full size Alien from the game next.

I came up with a final color for the Reddish tone parts of the Blaster. The image is just the base color and a preshade color . Texture and Antique layer to follow. Munus the Dust !!!

Interesting metal effect, it looks aged a bit already.
