Fallout Alien Blaster Build

Started making the Bulkheads to keep the profile true. In between the Bulkheads I will use 8 lb foam or Balsa Foam to start shaping the Blaster body .

Hey I happen to be working on this blaster too! I did in fact use Nifskope to rip the in-game model. Thing is with game meshes is they are designed to be as low-poly as possible and all the detail is faked with bump maps, textures, etc. It is still great for getting all the major proportions right, though.

Yeah I was surprised how much detail is in the texture map. It's still an immense help compared to screenshots!

Rear Pointy Thing done . The 4 slots will be filled with a clear blue cast resin pieces and back-lit .

After having installed pins to be able to separate the two halves , I can move forward with building the interior of the Blaster .
