Factory Entertainment MIB 2 Neuralyzer

I got my Neuralizer today and I couldn't be happier appearance and electronic-wise. Holding it was truly an amazing experience after wanting one for so long.

It seems mine has a problem though in that it won't stay closed without me pressing the latch- like it doesn't click closed. Anyone else having that problem?

Also, it's in the "correct" configuration that appears in the instructions.

UPDATE: FE already got back to me about my issue. What a great company.

Not sure if this has been asked already but is there a reason they went with the MIB lettering on the plaque rather than the MIIB?

We can help there, that's not actually an MIB (meaning MIB 1) logo on the plaque its a generic Men in Black Logo that's is supposed to be more indicative of the entire Men In Black Universe as a whole. We have several props in development from both MIB and MIBII and wanted to use a logo that was more generic so that when they are eventually displayed together they will look more cohesive. The whole MIB and MIIB thing gets a little confusing!

If people don't agree then speak up and we can still make changes... but we were hoping that in years to come when we hopefully have MIB4's, 5's and beyond to look forward to (fingers crossed) then more generic 'MIB Universe' branding will make sense? What say ye?

I like it, personally. Don't really care for the MIIB logo.

Also, I will be looking at the equipment itself not the plaque.

Received mine today, and I absolutely love it! I'm glad you (Factory Ent.) addressed the battery level/flash issue in the instructions. I guess my battery sat too long somewhere. It doesn't flash all the time, but the sounds consistently work very well.

Time to head to the battery store! :)

That makes sense. I do think it would be cool to also have which movie it came from. Even if it is smaller and below the main MIB top logo. It's not an issue but if you are asking opinions....

Hello FACTORY ENTERTAINMENT --

if i ordered one this weekend, when would my credit card be charged and when would it ship out? Best guess.

We currently have some in stock, so if you order it, you'll be charged when it ships, which would be within 24 to 48 hours of ordering.

Of course, I missed the delivery this morning.
The slip indicates I have to pick it up but also mentions re-delivery by request?
It's actually a little confusing, but since I don't have work until 4pm, I will get up early and head to the PO.
Really excited for this!

Another fantastic piece in my collection!
Very well packaged and I love the certificate.
The first thing I noticed about the prop itself is the heft.
I used to own the Unobtanium replica which was machined alluminum I think. That replica was much lighter but also, the FE version just feels mkre solid and well engineered.
Like others, I feel the sound fx are way too soft - the Neuralyzer app on my phone sounds incredible - but like FE had explained, creating louder sound would compromise design accuracy.
I also want to note how nice the display case is.
I never owned the MR version, so I cant give an educated comparison, but this just looks gorgeous on display.
I do recommend holding the clip open when shutting the unit. I already put a faint scratch on the side.
Overall, this is an excellent product and I'm hoping the mechanics holds up for many years.

You owned an Unobtanium neuralyzer? I thought they went bankrupt before any of those shipped. I thought the noisy cricket was the only one in existence!

I immediately noticed the differences when I opened mine. That's how obsessed I am with this prop. There is sharper detail on the top cap. The curvature of the bottom cone is more accurate. The ribbing on the "head" is smoother. The bottom of the clip has a little gap from the cone. The control panel is more rounded at the edges. This causes the month dial to be right at the edge. The lettering is sharper and a slightly darker blue. Then there are the obvious differences like the correct years and the charge port.

Definitely worth the extra money in my opinion!
