Sorry to hear about the accident, but I wouldn't be too worried. Even though you have emailed FE, I would try to bend the screw back straight. Just use 2 fine pincer tip plyers. DONT press hard with the gripping one, so as not to ruin the thread, and just GENTLY bend it back straight with the other one. The screw is not unbendable steel, so it shouldn't be hard to do if you do everything GENTLY.
