Hi everyone!!!
I just wanted to share photos of a replica my good friend, John Surles, made of the Poison Cosmetic case from George Lazenby's first outing as that gentleman spy - James Bond in the film 'On Her Majesty's Secret service.
In the film, Blofeld gives each of the 12 girls (known as his Angels of Death) this cosmetic case as a present at Christmas.
The atomizer contains a deadly poison to be released upon his command.
The small compact contains a radio with which he will contact them to do so.
This case has been made from scratch and utilizes all the correct interior cosmetic items as seen in the original film.
I was lucky to have as a friend, the foremost expert on the guns used throughout the Bond films as well as the author of the book '007 The Armoury" - "Mark Hazard" as he likes to be known.
He personally owns one of the original cases and was kind enough to give us all the dimensions so as to create as accurate a replica as possible.
This project took over 2 1/2 years to complete but the wait was certainly worth it as you will see.
Enough talk and on to the photos as they will speak for themselves. --Ed
