Ha I was wondering this as well, found the type of sight/similar but not exact. But the AK might be a fun first attempt at really building something.

Thought these could be handy for anybody building the AK. This is on Ebay by the way. It says these are all screen used pieces.
Update: Been attempting to translate some of the stuff on the laser just for fun. Im using google translate so take it with a grain of salt but Im just trying to see how the filmakers pictured this functions in the world of elysium.

I asked for theese. And mike j pointed me to ebay, so i saved them , but thanks for posting it here gonna help me a lot with my build
Btw dont want to hijack but this is the ak47 i made from pepakura

The description is also pretty handy for anyone looking to custom make one as they nicely include the dimensions.
"This is a screen used collectible AK-47 Sight and Rounds prop set. This set includes one prop AK-47 sight attachment and six AK-47 prop rounds. The sight is described as being composed of a polyester resin material, and is approximately 13.5 inches long. It is black in color with an orange scope and red, white, and yellow accents. There are decorative buttons and switches, but none of them move. There is a rubber cord sticking out of the back of the sight, that leads to a control pad that has decorative buttons that do not move. The rounds are all approximately 2.25 inches long, and described as being composed of aluminum, styrene, and resin materials. Half of the rounds have a silver base with a black intermediate and yellow and white tip. The other half have a black base with a silver intermediate and a black and red tip. This is one of three similar prop sets received from production. Please note these are prop items and are not functional. The others will be listed separately. All items are in good condition, but show signs of use from production, including intentional wear on the sight.
These items were created by WETA for use in production."

Not sure if they are the ones used with the AK, but they were used on set.

There was another listing for one they said was used with the MP5 but no listing for the above in relation to what gun.

In the reference pics i have, i can see that its green, and the spring clip, but its hard to tell if thats the one they used on the ak47 or not
If i cant figure it out, ill just buy a look alike

I bough one today in military green with the same spring clips as the pics, ill post it up when it arrives
