El Mariachi!!

Hi everyone after lurking around for two years I'm finally going to post about my mission to make and complete a replica of the Mariachi suit that Antonio Banderas wore in Desperado!! It does differ from the one he wore in Once Upon a Time In Mexico but I wasn't a fan of that version. I guess I'll be posting in the replica props as well since I'm going to replicate the guitar case that holds the guns. From what I've gathered the suit is a traditional charro/mariachi suit but a very basic one without the fancy embroidering and minimal metal broaches on the pants. Its seems like it was made from black suede so off I am next week to shop around for different fabrics. I'll post pics as soon as they come!!

Here's a crappy Photoshop job I did on my phone! My hair is longer than it looks because it's curly but as of now it stretches down past my lips so it should be at perfect length by October.

Yeah this Wednesday I'm gonna be out searching for different fabrics, the buttons on the side of his pants are custom they are sliver skulls. The boots are just regular black Mexican cowboy boots with spurs! The jacket is a litter longer than most mariachi jackets but the design is the same.
