eFX Reveals Stormtrooper Hero Legend Edition Helmet!

IIRC that had a few more bumps on it although its probably best that they clean it up a little.

Odd... from what I have seen and know there was no cleanup on it and outside of the unavoidable necessities of mass production, fans will be getting as close to an unaltered direct pull from an original helmet as we have ever seen or is possible.

This is very impressive, and certainly an answer to Ainsworth's knockoffs. Any chance of body armor being offered in the future?

I don't think eFX currently holds the license that would allow for this. I'd love to see that change in the future.

I didn't say Star Wars costumes. They do seem to make good hoochie-momma costumes that will win a bar halloween contest.

I'm just trying to figure why there would be "bumps", in your opinion.

Probably my mistake mate, it's been a few weeks since I saw the photos (been on a long vacation) and I thought I remember it having surface marks, but maybe it was just marks from age and rough use.....or possibly it was the whisky i was drinking :lol

Cheers

Jez

Looking really nice, it's great to see EFX going after these rarer helmets.

I was fortunate to see a load of photos of the Hero this was cast from so it's pleasing to see the effort that's gone into it. IIRC that had a few more bumps on it although its probably best that they clean it up a little.

Cheers

Jez

Please, eFx DO NOT clean anything up. I can't stand when they do that, just leave it alone.

And Jez, the lenses ARE green.;)

I'm no expert, but I saw a hero here in LA at the SW Celebration and I think it was real clean and no bumps. Can't say for sure though.

I have read this on the efx website

• Fiberglass construction, painted details and fully padded interior

Gino said that the replica will be vac formed. Is it going to be vac formed or fiberglass?

Thanks.

Can you tell me where on th efx website you found this. I can't find anything about the new Legend Stormtrooper Helmet the their website.

Thanks

I glanced through but didn't see it. I've always wanted to get a trooper helmet as it's just so freaking iconic, but never got around to it. What would this one cost?

That is in the Archive section of our website. That is the description of the Limited Edition that we made back in 2008. That is not the new Legend version. We will be uploading the Legend Stormtrooper in the "In Development" section this weekend.

Thanks!

Bryan

Thanks Bryan and thanks for making me go broke. :lol

Please forgive me for asking one last question about the Vader but I can't read through over 2,300 posts in the main thread and the EFX Vader threads seem to be locked.

I know the Limited Edition has the cleaned up paint job but what about the helmet itself. I am wondering how crisp and clean it is??? The pics shown look not so sharp around the side tubes so I was wondering how the finished prop will look sharpness wise??????

On the Stormy did the Hero or the stunt have the hand painted vents????

Thanks

Very limited clean up was done to both the Legend and the Limited Editions . The have most if not all of the warts of the mold that was used to make them.

That being said, Please don't bring the Vader into this thread. It seems that it can't be discussed without getting the thread locked and I would really hate to see this thread locked.
