EFX PCR boba helmet

It’s still a licensed EFX product sold though a third party. A licensed product can’t be sold otherwise. It was agreed upon and eFX is getting a cut. I don’t understand the confusion.
No different than RPF purchasing 150 licensed helmets outright and then turning around and selling them with a signature plaque that they did themselves. They need no agreement from EFX to do that.

Also, EFX has made no mention of this or try to promote this what so ever.

Again, this is just how I see it. I could absolutely be wrong.

I ordered mine through Sideshow since I had some Rewards Points to use, and since they also offer payment plans I figured "what the heck... I'll go ahead and do it as a couple payments." My second/final payment was originally supposed to be today, but a week ago I got an email from them saying that it had been changed to 4/20. Their explanation was this:

"Our FlexPay schedules are designed to coincide with the item's arrival into our warehouse, so that the final payment is charged and your item ships out to you as soon as we take possession of it. However, delays do occur periodically in production or transport schedules that require us to alter your original payment plan."

So now I'm wondering if they have some coming in April and then some more coming sometime between June and August, as the current pre-order page states. Or if my order will now be completed in June - August.
Well I'll be...

They charged my final payment this morning and I finally got a shipping notice just now - it's scheduled to be delivered Thursday. Nice! :D

The $999 helmet isn't a bad value. Considering you're getting 6 autographs and the helmet. Sure there's a slight mark up difference from getting them at a convention but the $1499 is laughable.

I managed to score one of these helmets from Daniel/TheStarWarstore. (No worries, no where CLOSE to full price)

I'll try and remember to post pics when I get it.

WOW. I am amazed how good BOTH helmets look! They both have the overall right shape and gestalt of TESB Fett! Interesting how the EFX does some things better/more accurate, while the Black Series gets others. Even with the difference in green base paint/color. Other than the thicker Black Series range finder ear piece, both look like they could be modded fairly easily into 501st acceptable trooping buckets. A problem would be that both helmets have the surrounding red t-piece "straight" and even across the top of the visor, rather than the slight warp or "wobble" seen in the film version(s) on the helmet's left side (viewer's right side).

And of course, both look great on display! It is hard to believe my FIRST Fett helmet was back in the late 1990s with the Don Post 1996 white plastic/vinyl version (without the later warp issues). It looked ginormous to me at the time; I believe Spencer's Gifts sold it for about $60 MSRP at the time.

...and now, for $120, you have such level of quality in the Black Series helmet? Looks better than my Don Post deluxe fiberglass $700 version!

I did the math on this a while back. Yeah, I'm not a big enough Fett fan to have ever sprung for a replacement since I got the green vinyl DP standard way, way back in the day. If I remember, I paid $99 CAD for it in '99 (same as the DP standard TIE which is still in my Detolf), which puts it at $155 in today's dollars. That makes the BS bucket five bucks cheaper today than the DP. Insane.

The EFX does have the wavy brow...slight but it is there.
The black series is nice...awesome for the price, but it isn't as wide as the EFX and the paint on the EFX is more accurate. Some of the paint details on the black series are more approximations to the EFX more accurate apps. I wouldn't say it does anything better than the EFX other than the interior in world look on the black series.
