Just got the case I ordered from casesforcollectibles.com.
It'll work I suppose, but it could be better.
It says to order your case by the inside dimensions. I did. 16x17 and I went with 20 in height as I wanted ole darth to have some breathing room so to speak
The way they make this case is they take a piece of clear plexi and bend it into 3 of the 4 sides. The fourth side and top are separate pieces of plexi attached to the top and back to finish off the 5 sides of the case. That's not a major issue for me really. The problem comes in that they bend the one piece into three of the sides. The bend obviously isn't creating a perfect corner so it doesn't fit the the base perfectly. It'd probably need to be 16.25 x 17.25 to slide over the glass portion of the base (they only have sizes in 1/2 inches I believe). Same thing will apply if you're sliding it over the wooden portion of the base as well.
I can post pictures later. I tried to take some, but given the position of the sun at the moment, i'll need to wait til the sun goes down. Getting way to much backlight through the blinds
