Dragoncon 2016

So it's been a bit quite on here, So who's excited for all the new movies this year? New movies mean new ideas for cosplay. Yay. Hows everyones new year going so far? How are all of your costumes coming along?
 
I am super excited for movies this year. I still haven't seen Deadpool yet but I plan too this week. My cosplay has been coming pretty slowly due to some Training so I can only work on it while at home. The Helmet is the biggest hassle so I'm trying to nail that first. Here is a Picture.

Finally saw Deadpool, I loved it. There are tons of movies I am so excited to see. Gods of Egypt is next.
 
I saw it, it got really bad, really really bad reviews...But I still enjoyed it as a movie....Lots of movies to come that I can't wait for, I think Captain America is the one most people can't wait for...I mean hell, it has more people then Avengers...Captain America, Bucky Barnes, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Black Panther, Ant Man, Vision, Spiderman, War Machine, Hawk Eye, Iron Man, Crossbones, etc...

And can you believe that marvel is talking about having over 67 characters in Avengers Infinity War....Gosh I can't wait...
 
So Dragoncon 2016 is less then 6 months away...176.2 days...but who's counting...So who has started on there costumes who hasn't done anything...and who has no idea what thery going to dress as?...Lets get this forum going again...
 
Time is flying by. The first year I went to DragonCon (Last Year) We decided to go in December and time just creeped by, it was horrible. But now I am actually planning a costume Time seems to be going a the speed of light.

I am Making a Daft Punk Costume (Friend is Making one as well) I plam to attend a Guy Manuel. I have already started my Helmet and have been putting the finishing touches on it recently. I can't wait!

Put me down for the meetup, please! I was so excited to go last year, but my flight was delayed and the meetup was winding down by the time I finally got up there. I was still able to meet a few awesome people, though! I'm flying in on Wednesday this year, so I'll be on time for sure.

Ask me about my costume in July. That's usually when I get motivated :)

Sweet, I have added your name to the badge listing. Glad to hear that you'll be able to make it earlier this year. There were a good amount of people that made it late last year due to flight delays and such. But I would like to add if you attended the meet last year despite delays we all solute you. To get there late and still attempt to show up is so respected and appreciated. I take a lot of time to make sure the site is up todate, as well as Helpfulnerd took his own time to make the badges last year. We would rather you show up late then not at all, the one thing that bothers us the most is people saying there attending and don't. If you know your not going to attend and plans change we undterstand, things happen. But it would be nice if more people would update us so were not wasting time and money to print out badges and wait around for people that knew weeks ago they were not going to make it...We look forward to seeing you again...and being able to chat longer this time...

I can't wait either, every meet I have a blast and make so many new friends. Some of my closest friends are because of this meet, I'm so glad I started doing it,...
