WIP PICS!!! Of course I do!
So this is my Boba Fett / Rocketeer cross over cosplay, lovingly called Bobateer!
Helmet is essentially done, got a couple final details to add like the fake weld lines for the fin and side vents. A little brush touch up with paint, and it will go on the "completed" shelf.
Rocket pack has been commission by Man of War Studios, and should ship out this weekend, then have to build it and give it the Rocketeer paint scheme completed with rivets.
I'll be working on the rocket pack control gloves tonight, they are at 80% already. I have Boba Fetts cape, the pants, the boots and just waiting on the Rocketeer jacket.
Essentially I should have this cosplay ready by end of next week. I went to Hancock fabrics today and picked up material for my robe for Rasputin and Saturday is a major build day for more mecha-glove work.
Phew, that's a lot, and I have much more to finish. I want to be done with all costumes by Sept 1st, I'm crossing my fingers.
Who else has WIP pics, let's keep this going y'all!!!

P.S. as if I don't already have enough to do I'm up late tonight to wip together a basic Samwell Tarly cosplay for a Party of Thrones event tomorrow night. Why do I do this to myself? :lol

Here's a quick run down of the three types of badges I am making this year:
1. The Super Rad Badge
This version of the badge will have YOUR avatar of choice, it will have your location (if available) and "Member Since" info along with username. If you are a premium RPF member you'll have the premium designation as well.

2. Lame Badge
This badge will still have your info, username, premium designation but WILL NOT have your avatar.

3. The Super Lame Badge
This badge will have no avatar, and none of your info, just a white box to write in your info at the meet up.

So, don't be lame, be rad :lol Send me your avatars. Saturday is Aug 1st, and you'll have until Aug 25th to submit your avatar for the super rad version of the badge, just don't put it off too long

I also want to add that this weekend I will be getting caught up on printing badges for the folks that have recently sent me Avatars. My client work has been pretty high recently and I have not had a chance yet to update the list for MatrixSpoon.
But rest assured I'll be getting caught up on badges and updating the lanyard list too.

( to be honest I felt a little bad since I was some random stranger just literally going OH MY GOD BILL I OWE YOU A HIGH FIVE! - sorry about that I was a little overexcited as an artist and an occassional amateur prop and costume maker I get overly excited meeting people whose work I admire xD)

We all do this to ourselves haha, I've still got a lot to do as well and am also hoping to finish everything by the first! Good luck to us haha xD I'll be working on everything every day after work and on tuesday I'll have a day off and next weekend will be a major build time since I'll have two days in a row off to really dig in to whatever is left by then.
Have to sew up my shirt, finish the armor, sew the coat, and do the last parts of work on the mask. PHEW #crunchtime!
I've ordered my under mask balaclavas ( multiple because nobody wants to wear the same one for three days haha) and the belts for my coat details which are the only things I'm still waiting on besides some fur coat trim.
Come on guys lets see everyone else's WIP!

Here's the mockup of my coat without the long back portion of the collar attached, I think I've got this pattern down and I'll be cutting the real fabric in the next couple of days
#WIP I've been making a mock up every time out of cheeeaappppp material because I am still not the greatest with patterns and sewing so this helps me a LOT.
