in general do girls show less skin here than at SDCC, Im trying to decide which to go to and although Dragoncon is easier for me to get to looks like SDCC has more hot half nekkid chicks

I would say it's the opposite. A lot more happens at D*C after dark. I've only been to SDCC once, but at dusk everything closed up and if anything was going on, it was private parties in the surrounding hotels,etc.

Can anyone tell me what movie/TV show/comic book/novel/short story/TV Movie/etc these women are suppose to be from? I've seen pictures of women dressed up in this particular outfit, but I sure can't tell where they're suppose to be from.

We had an absolute blast!! I was able to do War Machine. It was awesome to meet several people from here and the costumes were absolutely AMAZING! This was my second time going after several years and D*Con has boomed! I couldn't keep up with everything that was going on. I want to thank everyone who was so helpful to us in our big outfits. Above is a vid and pic of us.

those are most definitely Mord Sith from Legend of the Seeker,
I am actually working on my own Mord Sith leathers for next year.
I believe 2 of the women there actually had screen worn outfits and or accessories.
From what I have seen, there are way more basically naked women at D*C
and SDCC doesnt have the 'after dark" costume contest like D*C does.
We tried to attend but 1 hr before the costume contest the line was already wrapped all the way around the hotel.

Thanks for the kudos, CelticRuins. You all looked fantastic! I wish I was able to get more pics. It was difficult trying to wade through the sea of people to get all the shots I wanted.

That was a great costume. I had to run through the food court to nab those pictures. LOL

I made his cape and all his emblems (4 hrs of hand stitching) so I will take partial credit
It was his first time really putting on a costume like that and between the compliments and people asking for his picture he was over the moon. I think I have thoroughly converted him into a congoer
