Some of my favorite shots from this past weekend:

A great looking betelgeuse

This guy said he was on the RPF. Sup dude!

IMG_8684.JPG

A fantastic Leon.

There was a group of WWII guys. I'm not sure if they were just WWII themed or if they were from Captain America, but their uniforms were bang on.

Saxophone guy was a big hit.

My friend Lori won best movie costume at the masquerade for her Black Swan. Partly because her costume was dead on movie accurate, and partly because her performance was great. That she still does ballet and also resembles the part didn't hurt either.

Awesome Mary Poppins and Bert.

Sometimes the simplest costumes work the best, provided you can play the part!

The rest of the shots are here.

Wish I had gotten more. Enjoy!

Here's mine.. DragonCon 2011

BTW, I am the Nihilus, Colonial Warrior, & Cylon. I was also lucky enough to find Amanda and get a pic with her in her AWESOME Ariel costume..

The hot chick in the Sith cheerleader costume is my wife:love (she also did Mrs Lovett, Norma Jean & Magenta (Rocky Horror)). It was her 1st DC and she had a BLAST!!

You will also notice in the album some drag Disney princesses, these are guys from my local garrison who pulled this off and man were they a HIT! I was supposed to do Belle from Beauty and the Beast, but didn't have the gnads to go through with it..:$

Gutted I met so bloody FEW of you! :(

But I totally plan to go back, so NEXT year... HIGH VELOCITY! Come say hi to the UKCM! ;)

That was mindblowing, and finding out now how many of you I took pics of is making me very amused.
Well played.

Just watched the part one of the DC parade video looking for RoboCop. I guess I didn't come out from the Peachtreee Center until the Batmobile was going down the street. I waited for a room mate who was working at the Peachtree that morning to get off his shift.

I also have a RoboCop costume that I need to get adjusted so I can wear it, but you certainly move well in yours. Most of the time people are very stiff. The day before I left for DragonCon my Cyberman costume arrived from the UK.

This guy made my night. I literally thought I was gonna cry when I saw this I was so happy. I'm so amped to start making my stillsuit now omg.

That would be Volpin of Volpin props....Seriously talented dude!

Ah, of course. I should have known from the quality of the work and the fact that I have visited his blog on many occasions :confused. Sorry for not recognizing you Volpin!

On another note, I missed the stillsuit. That is awesome.

Yeah, I ran into the Stillsuit guy walking out of one of the elevators. Very awesome costume :D
I saw him at Starbucks very early in the morning (or late by Dragon*Con standards).

Also I think I met you during one of the days. We talked about Tom and Crow and I mentioned having the car seat needed to make Gypsy.

I'm going to venture into the attic to find it soon. There will be a host of pictures and detailed measurements in the near future. Also thanks for the tip about the Tom Servo kit. I will be ordering one soon.

wow this reminds me of when I went to the pittsburgh PA comic con with my Spider-man suit. I wish I was at this one. These are really good costumes ! They remind me of the ones that people have posted on the site where my gallery is located
