Dragon Con 2011 - Post Your Pics Here!

DrMaul
you win with having my favorite DC gallery because the first page is all Seeker cosplay.
I was so upset I missed the photo shoot and to boot my mord sith leathers were nowhere near ready to wear this year.

MordSith is at the top of my to do list for next year though.

I was about to say I love the Dam Vakko dress and then realized its screen used

I'm really enjoying looking through everyone's pics. There were so many fabulous costumes I missed! I had such a great time, I wish I could go every year.

I've aggregated our D*C costume photos here: Costumes (D*C 2011) - a set on Flickr

Ha, these two are awesome!

Great pics all around!

Now I have to decide...do I want to try and make SDCC or D*C next year. D*C might be easier since I'm on the east coast already. Decisions, decisions.

That's one thing I never realized was so big until DC - the Steampunk fans. I don't know if I could get into it like that, but I really appreciate their fashion sense:) I saw some gorgeous costumes, and I especially liked the hats. I don't know when I'll wear it, but I'm going to try making one of those little tiny hats some afternoon, just for fun.

I don't take as many photos as I used to at this point. I've seen so many costumes they don't usually blow me away unless it's something really unique or something I've not seen at this point. Here are a few of the pics of my favorite from this year:

Brotherhood of Steel Armor from "Fallout" series. They hadn't heard of the RPF so I directed them here.

A great clockwork robot from "Girl in the Fireplace" and a Quark behind it!

Stargate Wraith! Pretty accurate costumes, some parts were screen used some where made by them to fill in missing parts. I also directed them here.

Space Ghost and Zorak! Brakk was taking a break. This is a family that does a group costume every year.

dragoncon in my eyes is the super bowl of all cons... it has so much to offer... really you cannot beat it...

I saw him at Starbucks very early in the morning (or late by Dragon*Con standards).

Also I think I met you during one of the days. We talked about Tom and Crow and I mentioned having the car seat needed to make Gypsy.

I'm going to venture into the attic to find it soon. There will be a host of pictures and detailed measurements in the near future. Also thanks for the tip about the Tom Servo kit. I will be ordering one soon.

Oh yeah! Great meeting you in person! That would be so awesome if you can get me some measurements :)

Let me know if you need anymore help with the bots and stuff!
