Dr Who - Sonic Screwdriver - Tennant version - Which is the best toy available?

I'd like to get one of those inexpensive toys for display and possible modifications. There appears to be several available. Anyone have opinions on which is the best for quality and accuracy?

Everyone seems to buy this one. Comes with the psychic paper, and the screwdriver itself is pretty good quality.

It's look like the same version of the new one to me. The new one is bit darker (gray actually) and the cracked pattern is much deeper. I have an early version of the sonic and while the same size the color ( more ivory ) and the sound (early version is much louder) are different I have bought all the toys and enjoy them all.

Man, I wish I had bought mine sooner my only real complaint about mine is the level of the sound..
I did a video on youtube a while back showing how it sounds next to my cel-phone's mp3 player. The mp3 player sounded great but you could barely hear the sonic screwdriver.

Get the one that comes with the sonic pen. It no longer has ultraviolet LED, but a more accurate blue one. It is much brighter. I still think that an accurate metal version would be better and from what I have heard, it might not be too much longer that we have to wait.

Anyone have word if the classic Sonic screw driver is going to come out as a toy?

They are showing the sonic at SDCC, so soon I would hope!
