Does anyone remember the original DP POTA Mask?

I had Cornelius and the Gorilla back in the late 70's and I remember them being absolutely fantastic.

They've long since disintergrated and I am sure not many exist these days but I would give my......well, you know, to own those again.

ApeMania's are pretty decent, but their eyes are too sunken in and the hair they use looks terrible.

Did anyone else own the orginal POTA masks?

I had a Cornelius mask back in the day. I remember it being pretty good quality for the price, and it fit my teenaged melon rather well. I stupidly sold it to a close friend who may still have it, but the last time I saw it was several years ago and most of the hair had long since gone missing.

Regarding the Apemania masks, yeah, the hair looks a bit odd, probably because of the way it's attached to the mask. If I were to consider buying one, I'd write 'em first to find out exactly how it's attached; for that price it had better not be glued on like the Don Post masks. As far as the eyes, it's difficult to tell from the photos posted on their website; it looks like the models wearing them had small heads, so the masks fit them a bit loose. These days, with my now-oversized melon it probably wouldn't be an issue--I'm sure I'd fill it out just fine. :lol
