Does anyone remember the Yahoo! Darth Vader Reveal Mask Club?

I think that was one of the first groups to attempt ROTJ Reveal Masks, and some members did an outstanding job.. I was an early member, circa 2005. I remember the moderator/curator was a guy named Steve, who painstakingly identified all of the features. He then created CAD drawings and had actual metal pieces fabricated for all of the details. Years after the club went defunct, Steve was kind enough to share with me all of the CAD drawings, but, like a neglectful fool, I accidentally tossed them a few years later during a system reinstall on my CPU.

Whatever happened to Steve and those files?

I have a few questions:
Seeing how far we've come, do Steve's designs still hold up compared to more recent Reveal iterations?
Does anyone have those files to share?
Is anyone offering a Reveal Mask with metal parts, not plastic castings?
