Limited Run DL44 TFA Blaster Kit

I have to say, the M19 scopes thatdmachinist makes are spot on. I have a original one and compared them, and they are Very Accurate.

I know that in the description for the TFA kits I said there would be brass ends,
but looking at the pics we have where the paint is worn off it looks shiny like aluminum.
I can make the lens retainers brass but to keep it screen accurate they should really be aluminum.

Hummm, tricky question... I personally like it more in brass, but that's A New Hope. And mine will be painted as new, so, if I had a voice, I would take aluminum :)

I'm okay either way, though I think the brass looks a lot better. But if screen-accurate is what we're going for than I'll take the aluminium too.

LOL, I guess I am rather undecided. Whichever is fine. :lol

Ugh. I hate to do this, but if anyone wants to take my spot on this run send me a PM. I have a wedding to pay for, unfortunately. I also have the HFC, and short mag to go with it. Looking to let it all go at once. I apologize if this isn't okay. Let me know and I'll take it down.

Sorry to hear that, I don't think it is a problem, I'm sure you will be getting a lot of interest,
I am getting requests every day for more kits so there will probably be another run in a few months.

Scopes look great, I've been playing around on a lathe and you confirmed my worst fears that its takes ALOT of machining to make a scope like this :(

Scopes!!!
The TFA version has a groove at the small end, I will post a pic when it is done.
About 1 pound of material gets machined off of the blanks, they end up at almost 3 ounces.
