Yeah, it does look like a slot there.
Also, that's a nice shot showing the notch on the face of the bolt(KWC style).

its probably just 3d printetet for fitting, then after that CNC in alu. (the original was plastic in ANH)
the grill will be cast pewter, that is for fitting and to make the mold
ANH kits without grips will start shipping this week,
there were some problems with the mold for the TFA grill and knob so I have to make them over, the TFA kits will start shipping by May 6
orders with grips will be then also, I know it has been a long wait and I appreciate your patience, but at least I am on the estimated schedule,
you will need inch and metric allen (hex) wrench sets, the studs on the TFA are 10-32 thread, the ANH is 1/4-20 thread,
I am getting the plastic in a couple of days for the left side of the HFC to make it look like the mauser, will post pics soon,

It is .047 inch plastic sheet that I am going to cut on my laser machine to fit over the left side,
I have a lot of the denix in house and I measured the depth from them.
The only thing I sub contract out are the castings and I am having problems with that source,
so I am doing them in house now, and just have to work out a couple of bugs,
I am casting the M19 scope bodies and the TFA mounts and they come out very nice,
but I am getting bubbles on the smaller parts and just have to get rid of that and we are good to go,
this pic is the first couple of shots with the mold (don't worry the final parts will be good)
the shapes look good I just have to get rid of the bubbles,
the mount in the pic I poured with the same material in the same kind of mold material and it came out good,

the crossbar washers are threaded for extra strength, originally I was thinking of a strong glue but you might be able to silver solder or braze them on.

Is there an official list? I wrote about being interested but I'm not even sure I'm on the list or not. I really spaced out for a bit on this and a few other runs, so I cant even remember seeing a price for this kit.
