Limited Run DL44 ANH Version Blaster Kit

Scope, flash hider, and pushrods are the only pieces in alu, if I recall. The rest are cast. You should be able to tell by the finish on the pieces, if all else fails.

I am making a few more kits now, there is no pre-sale so if you want one you should order as soon as possible,
I am only making 25 more and as of now there are only 19 left
Also the brass detailed scope knobs are on sale 30% off, limited run, while supplies last

Yea - I've been experimenting with finishes and aluminum black and paste wax both remove brass rub n buff. I must have re-applied it a million times to my solid cast dial, can't wait to replace it with a brass moveable one. Thanks!!!

What have you guys done to make the brass scope rings and brass knob look aged? Anyone apply black paint and rub with steel wool? Just curious. This is the last bit I'm working on before I call it good.

I used pewter black on one, then steel wool and used a thin coat of spray enamel on the other and hit the high spots with steel wool and sandpaper. (I use a synthetic steel wool, its like a green scrubbing pad)

Think pewter black and steel wool would get the job done? You did this on both the knob and scope rings or spray enable on the knob?

Another thing you can do is place the parts in an airtight container with some ammonia.

Just suspend the parts in a way that they won't be submerged. Let them sit for several hours, or overnight.

If that doesn't age them to your liking, you can use aluminum or brass black.

I think pewter black and brass black are almost the same thing. It will work but personally I prefer the paint, it's easier and closer to how they are found in the wild. Plus cheaper is you don't already have a bottle of pewter/ brass black
